Title: Investment/Portfolio Manager
Reports to: Senior Investment Manager

Job Summary
The Investment/Portfolio Manager is a management level position whose responsibilities include developing new business and managing existing client relationships including hands on portfolio management.  At Sokolowski Investment Advisors we utilize an integrated team approach to client services.  The Investment/Portfolio Manager will work closely with the Senior Investment Manager to ensure that a consistent investment approach is taken across all portfolios.  They will also interact with the Certified Financial Planner to obtain a broad understanding of the client needs as discovered in the planning process with regards to portfolio management.  This position is based in Burlington, Vermont. 

Duties and Responsibilities
The Investment/Portfolio Manager can expect to focus on the following areas:

• Client relationship development and management, including ongoing and regular client contact and communications
• Client portfolio management and periodic reviews
• Identify, cultivate and track new opportunities for business development of the firm
• Market and bring new clients to the firm

Qualifications
The Investment/Portfolio Manager typically requires the following qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years experience in investment management and/or financial advisory services with demonstrated ability to develop and manage client relationships
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university; MBA preferred
• Series 65 required
• CFA or CFP preferred
• Proficiency with Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint as well as portfolio management software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Networking and business development acumen
• Client first attitude
• Impeccable integrity
• Desire/ability to work successfully in a small company environment

Salary and Benefits
Pay/benefits are competitive based on industry standards
